Sova Capital is pleased to announce that Fraser Smith has joined the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Fraser brings significant experience as a Global Financial Director with expertise in Asset Management, Global Banking & Markets, UHNW Wealth Management and Securities Services.

Fraser spent the last 12 years at HSBC originally as Global Financial Controller in Asset Management then Head of Business Performance for Global Banking & Markets and in his final four years as Global CFO for their Securities Services division. Prior to that Fraser was at Merrill Lynch for five years and also spent four years at Arthur Andersen as a Corporate Fraud Investigator.
Fraser qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in London.
